Calaia S. Jackson

Welcome to my site & thank you for stopping by!

I am a third-year Ph.D. student at the Joseph R. Biden, Jr. School of Public Policy and Administration. My research broadly focuses on education policy and social policy, with an interest in understanding how, structurally, education and social policies serve as social determinants of health, and how we can design more equitable and democratic policies to achieve education and health equity and reduce inequality. I am also an APPAM Equity and Inclusion Student Fellow, and a participant in one of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's leadership programs as a Health Policy Research Scholar (Cohort 6). You can find my CV here, and my frequently updated e-portfolio can be found on my University of Delaware e-site here!
